CDA Fire Station Admin Building
The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department Headquarters and Administration Building was designed to meet the same exterior requirements as Fire Station III. The use of brick wainscoting, shingle siding and composition roofing allow the building to blend into its downtown residential neighborhood.
The new building houses the Fire Departments Administrative offices, library, conference room and museum. The Fire Department is especially excited to have a museum space to display their antique La France fire Engine, historical firefighting equipment and photos that document the history of the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department. As the citizens of Coeur d’Alene drive down Third Street they will be able to view the La France fire engine behind two large windows.
